I support the Danville Solar Project and urge its approval for the following reasons:

Economic Growth & Job Creation: Danville Solar will generate over $7 million in property tax revenue for Boyle County over its lifetime, funding schools, roads, and essential community services. The project will also create hundreds of construction jobs, prioritizing contracts with small and veteran-owned businesses.

Protecting Private Property Rights: Danville Solar respects landowner rights, giving property owners the freedom to responsibly use their land while benefiting the entire community.

Energy Independence & Reliability: Danville Solar will provide locally produced, American-made energy, reducing dependence on foreign oil and enhancing grid reliability.

Environmental Benefits: Danville Solar is committed to preserving farmland, protecting wildlife habitats, and working with environmental agencies to support responsible development. The project will use less than 1% of Boyle County’s agricultural land, maintaining a balance between energy production and land conservation.
